The purpose ef this study was to investigate the aecuracy of temporary fixation with Laser welding for fixed partial dentures (FPDs). Five kinds of experimental FPD with different weldinglsoldering gaps were fabricated (O, 20, 501im for welding; 300um for seldering). Then, FPDs were temporary-fixed by laser welding or with a self-curing resin. Fixation accuracy was evaluated by thc changc in distanee and the angular cleformation between two retainers, The change in distance and the angular deformation between two retainers of the FPD without weldingfsoldering gap were signiricantly larger than
